Beaver Creek near Electra affecting Wilbarger and Wichita Counties. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Pease River near Vernon. * WHEN...Until tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Near bankfull conditions extend along the Pease River in northern Wilbarger County. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 14.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The Pease River is expected to rise to a crest of 14.5 feet this afternoon. - Action stage is 13.0 feet. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Cumulus clouds are fluffy and textured with rounded tops, and
may have flat bottoms. The border of a cumulus cloud
is clearly defined, and can have the appearance of cotton or cauliflower.
Cumulus clouds form at low altitudes (rarely above 2 km) but can grow very tall,
becoming cumulus congestus and possibly the even taller cumulonimbus clouds.
When cumulus clouds become taller, they have a greater chance of producing precipitation.
