Northwestern Calcasieu Parish in southwestern Louisiana... Southern Vernon Parish in west central Louisiana... Western Allen Parish in southwestern Louisiana... Central Newton County in southeastern Texas... * Until 900 PM CST. * At 756 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Rosepine to near Tulla to near Devils Pocket, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... De Ridder, Rosepine, Merryville, Reeves, Dry Creek, Singer, Sugartown, De Quincy, Ragley, Fields, Bon Weir, Pitkin, Mittie, Grant, Bivens, Gillis, Leblanc, Junction, Oretta, and Longville.
INSTRUCTION: Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into a small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CST for southeastern Texas. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 200 AM CST for southwestern and west central Louisiana.

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
