DESCRIPTION: ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas... West Fork Trinity River Near Boyd affecting Wise County. Trinity River Near Long Lake (Oakwood) affecting Anderson, Freestone and Leon Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...West Fork Trinity River near Boyd. * WHEN...Until late tonight. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Minor overbank flooding is expected. Farm and ranch land adjacent to the river will flood, and a few rural roads may be affected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 16.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:15 PM CDT Tuesday was 16.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this afternoon and continue falling to 10.5 feet early Sunday afternoon. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 16.1 feet on 02/25/2017. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
INSTRUCTION: Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Similar to cirrocumulus clouds, altocumulus clouds are
characterized by cloud patches. They are distinguished by larger cloudlets
than cirrocumulus clouds but are still smaller than stratocumulus clouds.
Altocumulus clouds most commonly form in middle altitudes (between 2 and 5 km)
and may resemble, at times, the shape of a flying saucer.
These uncommon formations, called altocumulus lenticularis, are created by uplift
in the atmosphere and are most often seen in close proximity to mountains.

Cirrocumulus clouds form at high altitudes (usually around 5 km)
and have distinguishing characteristics displayed in a fine layer of
small cloud patches. These small cloud patches are sometimes referred to as
"cloudlets" in relation to the whole cloud formation.
Cirrocumulus clouds are formed from ice crystals and water droplets. Often, the
water droplets in the cloud freeze into ice crystals and the cloud becomes a
cirrostratus cloud. Because of this common occurrence, cirrocumulus cloud
formations generally pass rapidly.
