Wilson River near Tillamook affecting Tillamook County. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Washington...Oregon... Cowlitz River at Kelso affecting Cowlitz County. Grays River at Covered Bridge near Rosburg affecting Wahkiakum County. Johnson Creek at Sycamore affecting Clackamas and Multnomah Counties. Nehalem River near Foss affecting Clatsop and Tillamook Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Johnson Creek at Sycamore. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...Above 11.0 feet, minor flooding begins along Johnson Creek between SE 92nd Street to SE 122nd Street and between Johnson Creek and SE Harold Street. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:30 PM PDT Friday the stage was 5.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage to 11.1 feet early Saturday morning. Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
